Happy Monday! Hope everyone’s weekend was what they hoped it would be. We attended a curry cook off on Saturday to benefit AFBA. Curry is my absolute favorite (well at least one of my favorites ha), so it was fun to try all different kinds from chefs and cooks around Austin.

This week was filled with some CrossFit and then a Flywheel workout. If you are unfamiliar with what that is, I talked about Flywheel some in this post. They were kind enough to have me back and also have me invite some of my friends/followers here is Austin. It was so fun to get to sweat with a bunch of your friends and expose them to a new workout. The workout was kick ass like usual and I was dripping with sweat after. I have been trying to vary my workouts some and it was good to mix it up.

Have you tried anything new lately in your fitness routine?

  1. Short and intense is what stands out to me about Cross Fit workouts. The one time I tried them I didn’t want to do any more than the short workout that we did. It’s amazing how less truly is more; I love short workouts so much more than I used to.

    1. Yes! I used to think that short workouts weren’t very good as how can you be burning that many calories in a short amount of time?! Now I love them. It’s all about putting that maximum effort into that time you are working. If you are pushing your hardest, that is where the results come from!
