Avocado Tzatziki

This easy avocado tzatziki recipe is made with avocado, lemon juice, garlic, cucumber, and dill for a healthy and dairy-free alternative to the popular Greek yogurt sauce. Paleo and Whole30.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup deseeded and diced cucumber (125 grams)
  • 2 large avocados (275 grams)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, divided
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Prep your cucumbers. Cut cucumbers in half and remove seeds with a spoon. Dice into 1/4 inch pieces.
  • Blend avocados. Add the avocados, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, red wine vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of dill to your blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Mix in the remaining ingredients. Add the avocado mixture to a medium bowl. Roughly chop your remaining dill. Stir in diced cucumber and dill, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Enjoy! Use it as a dip or sauce for your favorite Greek meal.
